To all my readers (currently zero), I apologize for the quality of the posts. I am an engineering major, not an english major. I think this post is supposed to be the about me post and the introduction to the blog post. So here to goes,

This blog is about my daily struggles of being an engineering student with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. I have always been fascinated by all things ADHD: the research, the qualities, the stereotypes, everything! I did an english project on the comparison of students with ADHD and engineering students. I looked into the qualities of each and how they overlapped, I looked at the teaching styles associated with each, and more topic like that. So I wrote the paper and then had to present it as a different medium. I choose to make a website and plan a fake conference on engineering and ADHD pedagogy. Well apparently my teacher liked it because he wanted me to try to make it into a real life conference. First of all, I have zero free time for this. Second of all, I’ve only ever planned a prom, I have no idea where to even begin to plan a conference (I straight BS-ed my english project). So I’ve been attempting to plan a conference in the little time I have. I will say though, that every time I start researching ADHD and engineering, I can’t stop. So this is my way of organizing my thoughts and kind of cataloging my life.

Oh, I may not have mentioned this, but I have ADHD and am also an engineering student. Hence, I have the motivation and passion to make this happen.

So, that’s where I got my little push to write these posts. Although, with the ADHD, I will most likely forget to post consistently. Example A, I created this blog months ago and have not posted until today (April 18th, 2017).

I hope this is entertaining, resourceful, or whatever it may be for you. If you happen to get nothing out of this, then I am truly sorry for wasting a couple minutes of your precious free time (I know how valuable that time is).

Thanks for bearing with me and reading all this! I’m usually the one to skim everything because I have the attention span of a squirrel, if that’s you, you probably have a lot of similar struggles and strengths as I do, so you should probably read this blog and share it and all the stuff you’re supposed to do with blogs. But hey, I’m not tryin’ to tell you how to life your life!

Cheers to ~ trying new things!

Side note: I’m going to try to cheers to something on every post of mine because it’s good to be thankful and positive!
